Know all men by these present that I, Frederic C. Winkler, Major of the Twenty Sixth Regiment of Wisconsin Volunteer’s Infantry, being in good health and of sound and disposing mind and memory do make, declare and publish this my last will and testament, hereby wholly abrogating, canceling, and revoking every other will or testament which I may heretofore have made.
It is my wish to give, and I hereby do give, grant, devise and bequeath all and single the property, real and personal, and credits and effects of what so ever nature, of which I may be seized or possessed, of which I may have any interest in at the time of my death, unto my wife Frances Maria Winkler, to have and to hold the same, and all my right, title and interest therein, (subject only to the payment of my just debts) into herself and her heirs and assigns forever.
And I hereby appoint and constitute my wife Frances Maria Winkler sole execution of this my last will and testament.
