Ludwig Kohn [Kuhn ?] from Racine. He was severely wounded at Gettysburg. A conical musket ball entering his right scapula and lodging in the thoracic cavity. Ludwig was removed to Satterlee Hospital in Philadelphia on July 9, 1863. He discharged on June 9, ’64, suffering from pain, making it hard to sleep because he could not lie flat. He returned to Racine after war. Lidwig is a member of Twenty-Sixth Regiment Association.
