Ferdinand J. G. Krueger, [brother of Gottlieb and cousin of Julius of Company F.], was from Newton He moved up the ranks as Corporal, Sergeant, then 1st Sergeant. Ferdinand became a farmer in Manitowoc after war. Later he moved to Milwaukee in 1887. He was a member of Robert Chivas Post No. 2, G.A.R.
